Song of the Day~ Groovin by the Young Rascals

The Young Rascals later known simply as the Rascals (guess they grew up) were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Garfield, New Jersey and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

Groovin’ has the 60’s style of rock melody but adds a Caribbean beat with conga drums and a Cuban influenced bass line to add some more “white soul” to the song.

There’s always lots of things that we can see
We can be anyone we want to be
And all those happy people we could meet just

One of the all time great songs for a lazy Sunday drive.
